Soy Laucifer y este es mi primer proyecto de novela visual. 

Remember surge de un fanzine hecho en 2023, cuando la nostalgia del mundo de las creepypastas (en el que prácticamente pasé toda mi pre-adolescencia y parte de mi adolescencia) me llegó tras escuchar una canción relacionada al fandom que hacía más de 12 años que no escuchaba. Al no saber cómo continuar el fanzine en cómic, decidí hacer una novela visual para juntar esas ideas que no compaginaban unas con otras, y así hacer diferentes rutas dentro de una misma historia.

¿De que trata Remember?

"Vives una aburrida y casi deprimida vida, lo que te lleva a rememorar tu adolescencia y la música que solías escuchar gracias a una vieja playlist que has encontrado. Sin embargo, cuando te quieres dar cuenta, has acabado dentro de un bosque y personas que conoces más de lo que te gustaría van a por ti. Deberás encontrar la razón por la cual has acabado ahí, y encontrar una salida, sea vivo… o muerto."

Remember tiene una estética parcialmente retro, pero esta basada en la actualidad.  A demás, la historia se basa mucho en la música (es el punto principal del juego), sobre todo en el shoegaze, el emo y el metal alternativo, a parte de canciones con la que la mayoría del fandom y gente de internet de la época de 2012 a 2015 hemos crecido.  Me gusta llamarlas "cringe" en un apodo cariñoso, aunque realmente las sigo disfrutando y escuchando prácticamente a diario.

Es por ello que también en los personajes principales encontraras sus canciones  representativas a un lado de su nombre.

La canción principal del juego ha sido realizada ESPECIFICAMENTE PARA ESTA HISTORIA  por "2ndgear" en Vgen,  la cual no se encuentra en Spotify.

Remember consta de 5 capítulos en total (incluyendo el prólogo), de los cuales la actualmente disponible demo son el prólogo, el capítulo 1 y mitad del 2.

En Remember encontrarás diferentes rutas, tales como: las rutas realistas (finales malos), rutas verdaderas (canon en la historia) y otras sub-rutas, en las que se incluye poder acabar ligando con tu creepypasta favorito gracias a un medidor de afecto.

Remember también incluye easter-eggs que tendrás que buscar para desbloquear finales secretos.

I’m Laucifer, and this is my first visual novel project.

"Remember" grew out of a fanzine created in 2023. It was sparked by nostalgia for the world of creepypastas, a realm where I spent practically my entire pre-teen and early teenage years, after I heard a fandom-related song I hadn't listened to in over 12 years. Unsure of how to continue the fanzine as a comic, I decided to create a visual novel instead; this allowed me to bring together ideas that didn't quite fit together otherwise and craft different routes within a single story.

What is "Remember" about?

"You are living a dull, almost depressing life, which leads you to reminisce about your adolescence and the music you used to listen to, all thanks to an old playlist you’ve stumbled upon. Before you know it, however, you find yourself in the middle of a forest, pursued by people you know all too well, people you’d rather not have to deal with. You must discover why you ended up there and find a way out... whether dead or alive."

"Remember" has a somewhat retro aesthetic but is set in the present day. Furthermore, the story relies heavily on music, it’s the game's central element, drawing especially from shoegaze, emo, and alternative metal, as well as songs that much of the fandom and internet users from the 2012–2015 era grew up with. I like to affectionately call them "cringe" songs, even though I still genuinely enjoy and listen to them practically every day.

That is why, next to each main character's name, you will also find their signature songs.

The game's main theme song was created SPECIFICALLY FOR THIS STORY by "2ndgear" on Vgen and is not available on Spotify.

"Remember" consists of five chapters in total (including the prologue); the currently available demo covers the prologue, Chapter 1, and half of Chapter 2.

In "Remember", you will encounter various paths, such as realistic routes (bad endings), true routes (story canon), and other sub-routes, including the option to end up romancing your favorite creepypasta character, thanks to an affection meter.

"Remember" also features easter eggs that you must find to unlock secret endings.
